The Seattle Seahawks would rather forget their Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, as it was one of their worst outings in the Russell Wilson era.
Not only did the offense only muster up 10 points, but Wilson threw a career high five interceptions. In his post-game press conference, Wilson shouldered the blame for the loss, and said he’s already looking forward to Thursday night’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
Wilson and the Seahawks offense better find a way to fix their problems soon. With just three games left in the regular season, Seattle has only division games left, and will need to win-out to give them a chance at clinching a first-round bye. Fortunately, for them, their NFC West foes all have a combined record of 10-28-1.
The key for the Seahawks is to get Wilson back into his comfort zone and improve his passing numbers.
The Rams should offer the perfect opportunity for him to do just that, as Los Angeles enters with the worst scoring offense in the league and just fired head coach Jeff Fisher on Monday after a 4-9 start.
